• [call from Reference] "Oops, nope you aren't S--nevermind!" [ok]
• Geronimo Stilton books [quiet voice + lisp + that name = incomprehensible (nearly); yes we have them, the cartoon ones she wants even]
• "Who was..." books [biographies that start with "Who Was [so and so]?" [yeah, but they're literally ALL OVER the place--who, in particular...JFK? OK got it. In English, even!]
• {crickets for 30 minutes}
• How to get what I printed [didn't know where the print-release computer was]
• {crickets for 10 minutes}
• Pay to print [and her daughter is a spider monkey (she says), a very cute one]
• Chapter books for an 8-year-old [ah that horrible in-between age...but we find some for her]
