What I'm doing between questions: subject lists, sleeping, the usual

3:00 in the children's room

• The "away from the desk" sign throws this woman so much that she completely forgets what she was going to ask...and when she remembers, her friend is waving the book she's asking about at her [rough reference question there]
• Kid looking for a Kleenex for his glasses [he's been here every day after school, easily 6'3" tall and a student at the nearby K-8 parochial school--nice kid]
  
• Kleenex--"somethings makes me sneeze at the library" [couldn't possibly be dust...]
• Pay to print
• "Blood as art material", and "Body fluids as art material" : Two subject headings I hope to never, ever need to use
• Staff member: "Why are pet turtles in two different numbers: 636.932 and 639.392?"  [because that 2nd number has been wrong for 11 years....sigh]
• [phone] Checking to see a book came in that he ordered [his name? "keeeuuuugggh gheiiiiteeehhuuhhh" seriously
• [phone] Renew books
• [phone] Cataloger from nearby library calling for clarification on something from this morning

I spent the morning at a cataloging meeting, and it's dark and rainy outside, so I am 100% ready for a nap. Too bad I work till 6, and the last hour will be spent at the circ desk filling in for a sickie.
